    Thanksgiving Update

They've redone some of the ornithischian dinosaurs' cheeks.

And they are working on the interactions between certain animals and water.

In the prior blog post, they demonstrated some progress on Triceratops herding behavior, as well as Anatosaurus ontogeny.

Last but not least, they've showcased Dakotaraptor's Raptor Prey Restraint method.

    Picture of Anatosaurus life cycle.

    That looks mildly adequate.

The raptor models are looking really nice, and the small one is cute as heck :V
And how they are trying to make the whole 'hunger system' sounds interesting

Just started playing Saurian. While rough and buggy (intermittent lag, esp when running and transitioning from day/night, NPC AI is terrible and always bugging out), the world looks very pretty from a Dakotaraptor's eye view, if currently a little empty. Was damn scary when, late at night, a massive T.rex comes bursting out of the Metasequoia forest, chomping on my shrieking mother barely 2 feet in front of me, lifting her into the air and swallowing her whole, then leaving me alone in the darkness...

All in all a very promising start. They've come a long way since those initial discussions way back on the old Primal Carnage forums.

Be advised before you fork out $20 that it is an unoptimised EA pre-Alpha, once you've matured your Dakotaraptor there isn't much to do. Combat *definitely* needs a lot of work.
