    I am trying to find information on Nigeria's mesozoic history but I'm coming up short, can anyone provide links or information about this subject or conjecture?

    two questions;

    One: is O. quilombensis the new old S. aegyptiacus?
    based on this image:

    Two: is S. pachytholus a basic mix between A. atokensis, and G. carolinii?

    All the material we have of Oxalaia matches up almost exactly with Spinosaurus's. It's probably more likely they are the same thing than it is that Oxalaia had giant legs.

    Thank you, what about #2? Sauroniops, Giganotosaurus, and Acrocanthosaurus look very similar.

    Convergent evolution. That's why they look so similar.

    Sauroniops is only known from a skull fragment. It is restored as being similar to Giganotosaurus and Acrocanthosaurus because it was likely closely related to them.

    There was a person in some far off website I don't remember who didn't believe that Rex had feathers because the fossil didn't show any. Then a person commented that the fossil didn't show eyes either.
