    Build 6888 Released

    Hi all!

    We're releasing a new build of Open Testing today. See below for the changelog.

    Accessing the build
    Open Testing now has its own App ID on Steam! You can find "Primal Carnage Extinction Open Testing" in your games list.

    Server
    We're running an official open testing server called "PCE Official Open Testing" in the US region. You can join the official open testing server by connecting to IP Address 192.223.31.152 or finding it in the server browser.

    Changelog
    Added CTE to the Host Game menu
    Added proper HUD notifications for CTE events
    Changed eggs to be worth 150pts when captured
    Added an icon to the bottom left that appears when you are carrying an egg
    Added some floating HUD indicators for CTE nests when they are nearby, and a floating HUD indicator to direct you to the capture point when carrying an egg
    Added audio stingers for egg pickup, drop and capture

    Implemented a new Melee which doesn't require perfect accuracy, it now hits all dinos within a range on your screen.
    Implemented various missing audio cues
    Added a "Ranked" icon to the server browser to indicate a server that is running on a gametype that earns you Extinction Points

    Fixed health not being replicated properly, causing spectator HUD issues
    Fixed Holly Dilo using the Corrupted Dilo skin overlay
    Fixed the Oxpecker Tupa not correctly appearing in inventory
    Fixed being able to hear other player's idle sounds when they are in the loadout
    Fixed a few crashes related to the Progression System
    Fixed HUD notifications appearing in the wrong area for CTE
    Fixed egg scoring not adding to team score
    Fixed Acro appearing as unavailable in the team select UI with the new class selection/availability code
    Fixed CTE game popup not having localization

    Increased speed of Flaregun projectile
    Changed Assault Rifle alt-fire to not be timed, and instead always exploding on impact.

    Further work on weapon sounds
    Further work on optimizations for character particle effects

    MAP CHANGES
    Fixed a blocking volume on AI-Geothermal that AI raptors could jump on and get stuck on
    Fixed some collision issues on Snowbound
    Removed collision from hanging wires on UtilityBase
    Fixed some broken resupply stations on FR-Seasons
    Added more resupply stations to FR-Seasons
